The purpose of this school assignment was to redesign the current FacilityServer app of Gira. Gira provides smart home technologies and associated applications. The main task was to focus on the UX and UI of the app. This app is used to control a smart home. In my opinion it's important that the app feels friendly, homey and secure. I made line-icons and tried to make the app as simple as possible. Most importantly I wanted to create an app that thinks with the user. To get some inspiration I studied a lot of other smart home and domotica apps, and looked at apps in other industries, for example apps in the vehicle manufacturing industry.
